Game one was a slugfest for the Bison as they put at least one run in every inning. Freshman Larissa O'Rourke (Malden, Mass.) got the start in left field and went a solid 2-4 with a team leading four RBI. Senior Tracy Cullity (Manchester, N.H.) went 2-2 in the game and had two RBI. Her first RBI came on a double in the first inning. Seniors Joanne Brignoli (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and Lauren Person (Vernon. Conn.) each went 2-3 in the game with three RBIs. The tying run was scored by sophomore Kayla Hebert (Johnston, R.I.) who was pinch running for Brignoli who singled earlier in the inning. Big sister Christina Hebert (Johnston, R.I.) and Magni scored next on a single by Person to right field. The two RBI gave Person five on the day. Cullity also had another two RBIs as she singled home sophomores Lauren Lombardo (Wolcott, Conn.) and Loren Rozanski (Plainville, Conn.).
